Prints & Papercuts

For the last week I've been busy organizing prints and frames (and getting lots of papercuts in the process!) for my latest group exhibition. I'm so used to seeing my work on a computer screen, it's really nice to see my illustrations printed in real life  :)

SURFACE Launch x Exhibition

I'm really excited to be part of a group exhibition and launch party for Issue 2 of Six Years Later Mag! (Remember I wrote about 6YL mag here?). 25 awesome artists who were featured in Issue 2 will be exhibiting their art, and I will have six prints in the show and available for purchase.

It's happening in Melbourne, so unfortunately I wont be there - wah! But for those in Melbs, the launch night will be this Thursday, August 23 at No Vacancy Gallery from 6pm onwards. Check out the event page here.

Sarah's Dead Bears print set and phone cases

My super-talented pals Sarah and Marika will be selling their creative products this Saturday 21st April at the KickstART Markets at the Perth Cultural Centre.

Hand-painted skate deck by Sarah

Sarah has been hard at work painting, chopping and sewing her wares to sell at the markets. If you have a chance you should check out her one-of-a-kind painted skate decks, hand-made phone cases, landscape photos and graphic design prints (the 'Dead Bears' set is my fav!). She tells me that she admires the works of Sitnie, Naomi Hosking, Rona Green and Perth’s own Stormie Mills. If you like tattoo art, grafitti and skate deck art, check out her stall located across from the State Library of Western Australia. View her art online here.

Marika is another mad-talented illustrator/designer who is selling her goods this Saturday. An enthusiast for Scandinavian design, pancakes and pantone 551, Marika will be selling limited edition Autumn themed prints, notebooks, stickers and letter sets (her 'thank you' cards are too cute!).
