The lovely people at Solitude Magazine featured my Cross My Heart illustration in their Dec issue! Solitude is an Australian magazine featuring the best in alternative stylings, rockabilly, burlesque, tattoo, goth and punk. It's a great read and I think it's really refreshing to see these kind of magazines at the newsagents alongside more mainstream publications. Available for purchase online here.

T-shirt Giveaway

Ok, I am soooo excited to launch the first giveaway on my blog! I recently got my Cross My Heart illustration screenprinted on t-shirts by the lovely people at Red Octopus and they came out looking sharp! The tees are a four-colour screenprint on Gildan soft-spun cotton in a range of six different coloured shirts. And I'm giving one away!

Wow. Taylor Reeve is one talented lady. Under the name of Taylorsays, she creates gorgeous one-of-a-kind custom illustrations on heels. Reading through her blog it seems like she paints on just about anything, from canvas to car interiors.

Cross my Heart

Yay, finally something new! Recently I posted a sneaky peek of this, and now I can present the finished illustration. I've wanted to do something with a nautical theme for a while now, and I just can't resist drawing rockabilly girls. Originally, I planned to have a much more obvious sea link with anchors and ropes making up the frame, but I decided it looked better without. The tattoos were fun to draw  :)
